

Lillian B. Crenshaw Pickens, SC Lillian Bolding Crenshaw 95, of Pickens, SC, widow of Woodrow Crenshaw, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Her beloved Jesus entered her sleep and took her into His loving arms. Her faith and trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior delivered her into the joys of Heaven. Born in Pickens County, SC on May 26, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Lola Winchester Bolding and Ben Tillman Bolding. She was a lifelong member of Mountain View Baptist Church and retired from Utica Mohawk, Clemson, SC after 26 years of service. She enjoyed life on the farm, especially growing her favorite flowers, Roses and Iris. Friends would ride by her home to admire the beauty of her flowers. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Delta & Neal Cantrell of Pickens, granddaughter, Lori (Bill) Sembert, step-grandchildren, Gary (Misty) Todd, Gary (Sonya) Cantrell, Bobby (Missie) Cantrell, Wesley (Jodi) Cantrell; sisters-in-law; Ruth Bolding and Ola Mae Crenshaw. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Jerry D. Crenshaw, son-in-law, Don Griffith, brother, James W. Bolding, and sister, Kathleen B. Byrd. In honor of the excellent care that Mrs. Crenshaw received, the family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W Georgia Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29680, or Mountain View Baptist Church (Building Fund), 336 Mountain View Church Rd., Six Mile, SC 29682. The family would like to thank all those who helped with providing loving care to Mrs. Crenshaw. Also for all the visits, food, cards and phone calls from friends during her recent illness. The family will be at the home of Delta and Neal Cantrell, at 145 Calla Lily Ct. in Pickens, SC. Mrs. Crenshaw was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A memorial service honoring the life of Ms. Lillian will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home.
