Pickens – Lillian Masters Day, 95, widow of Elbert Day, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Mrs. Day was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late William Snow and Olivia Jarrett Masters. She was retired from Pickens Mill and she was a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Day was preceded in death by brothers, Elford Masters, Willie Masters, J. K. Masters, Jarrett Masters, Russell Masters, and Bolt Masters, and sisters, Bessie Holcombe, Buggy Skelton, Essie Hendricks, and Sudie Roper. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Dillard Funeral Home with funeral services following at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
