

Linda was born in Easley to the late Ida Maebell Gibson and William J.T. Murphy. In her earlier years she was a caretaker at April Valley Nursing Home. A devoted member of Enon Baptist Church, she loved her family and was known for being “free-hearted”.
Linda is survived by her sister Brenda Lollis (Bob) of Sunset, S.C. and two brother-in-laws; Donnie Duncan of Easley and Ray Brissey of Liberty. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was predeceased by her parents; three sisters Viola Duncan, Hazel Duncan and Judy Brissey and a special nephew Tony Duncan all of Easley. She was also predeceased by her first husband Floyd Brissey and her second husband Harry Kay.
A visitation for Linda will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, 2402 Gentry Memorial Highway, Pickens, South Carolina. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made in her honor to Enon Baptist Church of Easley. Dillard Funeral Home is serving the family.
