Mrs. Jones was born in Easley South Carolina, on August 8, 1934, to the late KT and Lula A Dukes. At an early age she joined and served at Easley Union Missionary Baptist Church. She work and retired from Mayfair Mills.
Mrs. Jones leaves to cherish fond memories with her two daughters: Cathy Alcorn (Floyd) in Alpharetta, GA and Carmen Woodford (James) in Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and one sister: Emma J Dukes of Hendersonville, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her beloved husband: James I.B. Jones; and two daughters: Rhonda Murphy and April Rhodes.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Thursday April 9, 2026, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, located at 2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671.
