Michael lived life with a joyful spirit and a heart as big as his famous bear-hugs. An old soul with a free-spirited nature, he had a gift for making everyone around him feel special. A true movie buff, passionate wrestling fan, and die-hard Clemson football lover.
Michael found pure joy in the kitchen. Cooking wasn’t just something he did—it was how he loved people. He lit up while preparing meals, proud to share his talent and even happier to watch others enjoy it. Good food and full hearts were always his goal, and he never missed the mark.
Above all, Michael loved people. His hugs were legendary—big, sincere, and able to make you feel like you were the most important person in the room. He carried a rare kindness, meeting friends and strangers alike with a full heart. That was Michael—warm, genuine, and always showing up in his own unforgettable way.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jincey Goss and Mike Leisten; maternal grandparents Kenneth and Virginia Gibson; paternal grandparents David and Bobbie Collins; uncle Victor Gibson; and aunt Lori Leisten.
