Mrs. Narvice C Sweezy

Pickens, SC – Narvice Cater Sweezy, age 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 24, 2021. Ms. Sweezy was born in Pickens County, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Jim Cater and Olive Massingill Cater.

Survivors include six sons Danny, Robin, Dale, Mark, Neal and Andrew. Surviving are a number of loving grandchildren and precious great grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother Garnice Cater and a sister Wekona Woods both from Easley, South Carolina.

Ms. Sweezy was predeceased by a son Terry Sweezy, a brother Eulon Cater and two sisters Nelta Bagwell and Ann Hayes.

Ms. Sweezy was of the Baptist faith and last attended Roanoke Baptist Church. She was a home maker in life and very loving and supportive of her family. Her grandchildren made her happy. She wanted to help people. Always smiling and never meeting a stranger. She loved her dog Minnie but her grandchildren more. She baby sat for many people over the years. She loved her front porch rocking chair so that she could sit outdoors and read her Bible.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel 2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy Pickens, South Carolina 29671 with a visitation that same day starting at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens, South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Easley Christian School at 461 Saco Lowell Rd. Easley, SC 29640.
