Patricia Gail Greene, 67, wife of Douglas James Powell, passed from this life Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. Gail was born in Greenville, daughter of the late William Carlton and Velma Lee Owens Norris. She was retired and of the Baptist faith. Gail loved photography where she served as the family photographer and she loved to grow flowers. Survivors include her husband James Powell of the home, sons, John William Greene (Wendy) of Greenville, James Wesley Greene (Theresa Ann) of Liberty, Jesse Wade Greene (Tammy) of Six Mile, and Joseph Wayne Greene (Rebecca) of Pickens, sisters, Sandra Pilgrim of Easley, and Diana Massey of Norris, and a brother, David Joseph Norris of Easley. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:15 PM Sunday at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens with funeral services following in the funeral home chapel at 3:30 PM. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Gardens.
