Robert Lee Nix Liberty, SC Robert Lee Nix, age 64, went to be with the Lord Friday February 20th, 2015 at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, SC. Mr. Nix was born in Pickens, South Carolina, a son of the late Homer Nix and Mary S. Nix. Mr. Nix loved to fish, read, and "not let anything whip him" - he always figured out how to fix anything he set his mind to! Survivors include one son - Robert E. Nix of Easley, daughter-in-law Kim, and granddaughters Cassie and Megan. One daughter, Holly Young of Killeen, Texas, son-in-law Jay, grandsons James and Jarred, and granddaughter Miami. Also, Mr. Nix is survived by one brother, Charles Seay of Easley and two sisters, Ruth Anderson and Dollie Trotter, both of Pickens. Mr Nix's brother, Prince Richard Nix of Easley, already in Heaven along with his mom and dad, were waiting for him just inside the gates. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 3:00pm Sunday March 08, 2015 at West End Baptist Church in Easley, SC, with Memorial Service to follow at 3:00pm. Burial will follow at Crossroads Baptist Church in Easley, SC. Dillard Funeral Home is assisting the Nix family. .
