Robert "Bobby" Whittington Wells Jr.

Bobby was born in Greenville, South Carolina, on August 10, 1943, the late Robert Whittington and Janie Louise Hawkins Wells. Bobby proudly served in the United States Navy. He loved to be outside either playing golf, raising chickens, or drag racing. Bobby will be missed by all those who knew him.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 60 years, Suzanne Wells; two children: Joanna Tucker and Matthew Wells (Tia); seven grandchildren: Tristan Tucker (Kara) and Shea, Ali, Parker, Reeves, Banks Wells; and one great grandchild: Raelynn Tucker.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by two children: Kelly Wells and Russell Wells.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dillard Funeral Home. Located at 2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 2967.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday March 11, 2026, at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Located at 1 Pine Knoll Road, Greenville, SC 29607.
