

Born on August 20, 1946, in Fountain Inn, SC, she was the daughter of the late Clint Evans Crisp and Ruby Lee Harvey Crisp Koppenhafer. Sarah was a strong, caring and loving woman. She always saw the good in everyone and was loved by all who knew her. She loved drinking coffee, tending to her green plants and her favorite flower was the tulip. She was known by friends and family for the best fried chicken, fresh fried okra, and mouth-watering homemade biscuits. Sarah was always willing to help others and loved to cut up and have fun. She was a member of Hiland Park Assembly of God Church in Panama City, FL.
Surviving are her husband, Howard Ricks; children, Tammy Hazlett (Jerry), Kim Cummings, and Wayne Bailey; four siblings, Sue Rhodes, Ann Rudd, Betty Jean Stell, and John Parrot; five grandchildren, Josh Sweatman, Nicole Sweatman, Tyler Bailey, Caleb Hazlett and Jacob Hazlett.
Sarah was also predeceased by her step-father, Pete Koppenhafer; father-in-law, J.W. Ricks and mother-in-law, Helen Ricks.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home. Funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. in the Dillard Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Colin Parker and Reverend Darryl King officiating.
A committal service will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Reverend Don Day officiating.
