Born in Pickens on May 9, 1971, he was the son of Bertie Gantt and the late Johnny Gantt.
Tony loved fishing and thrifting, but nothing meant more to him than spending time with his family.
Tony began his working career as a cook at Bantam Chef, where he worked for many years before moving on to the Carolina Fine Foods. His most recent employment was with Walmart, where he worked in maintenance
In addition to his mother, Tony is survived by his wife, Mindy Gantt; son, Thomas Gantt; son, Blake Dover; four brothers: Michael Gantt, Tommy Gantt, Tim Gantt, Matthew Gantt; two granddaughters, McKenna and Paisley Dover; mother-in-law, Sue Dover. He also leaves dear friend Riley King and numerous nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
In addition to his father, Tony is preceded in death by his two sisters, Tonya Chapman and Beth Owens; and father-in-law, Jead Dover.
