Wayne Pressley

Larry Wayne Pressley, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed peacefully at his residence on Monday, October 4, 2021. Mr. Pressley was born in Greenville, SC on January 1, 1945 to the late Houston Levi and Melonize Virginia Kelley Pressley.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 58 years: Linda Jane Patterson Pressley; his brother: Don Pressley and spouse Ann Pressley of Ridgeland; children and spouses: Joey Pressley and Joy Threatt of Six Mile, Danny Pressley and Susan Hunter Pressley of Liberty, Rhonda Pressley Veit and Jonathan Veit of Watkinsville, Georgia; grandchildren: Corey Threatt, Andi Threatt Owens, Scott Pressley, Erin Pressley Cooper, Hank Veit, and Mary Linda Veit; great-grandchildren: Kaylen Threatt and Hunter Cooper; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins; in-laws, outlaws, and friends far and wide.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be contributed to Norris First Baptist Church ( https://fbcnorris.org/ ) or the American Heart Association ( https://www.heart.org/en/get-involved/ways-to-give ).

While there will not be public visitation, all are welcome to a brief graveside memorial service scheduled for Saturday, October 9, at 11:00 a.m. at Liberty Memorial Gardens.
