Mrs. Iva Gay Hall

Brenton- Iva Gay Hall, 81, went to Heaven to meet her Daddy Monday, March 23, 2015 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, following a long illness. Born November 2, 1933 in Squire, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Dora Fritz Peery. Iva enjoyed playing BINGO, playing cards, crocheting, cooking and being with her family. She was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley M. Hall; two brothers, Bud and Bill Peery; a sister, Nelma “Toots” Burns; and a daughter-in-law, Sheila Hall. She is survived by four sons, Steve Hall and wife, Marsha of Slab Fork, Tom Hall and wife, Sue of Brenton, Rick Hall and wife, Sherry of Turkey Creek and Bruce Hall of Glover; one daughter, Lydia Lambert and husband, Fred of Oceana; one brother, Dave Peery and wife Christy of Bradshaw; twelve grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 am, Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Calfee Funeral Service Chapel. Entombment will follow at Green Hill Memory Garden, Claypool, VA. The family will receive friends from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
