Lena Jo Burns

Lena Jo Burns, 47, of Pineville passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. Born April 30, 1967 at Flint, MI she was the daughter of Lydge Burns and Letha Thompson Burns. Lena attended the Pineville Church of God. She enjoyed painting, bowling, watching TV, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jess and Alice Thompson, John and Eva Burns and two aunts, Sylvia Shrewsbury and Drema Settle. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Letha Rocchi and her husband, Jordan of Jesse and Megan Osborne of Mullens; and a sister, Belinda Mullins of Pineville. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Chase, Andy and Cory Rocchi and Nieces and Nephews Amy Mullins Mitchell, and husband Jermal and Misty Mullins, Kaleb, Jordan, Noah, Issac, and Gabrial Mitchell, Eljah Aaleigha, Aamaya Flippin. A celebration of Lena’s life will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Pineville Church of God with the Rev. Norman Gray officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. on Friday at the church. Calfee Funeral and Cremation Service of Pineville is serving the Burns family.
