Polly Frances Sizemore

Polly Frances Lester Sizemore, 86, of Turkey Creek passed away in her sleep Monday, June 8, 2015 following a long illness. Born March 26, 1929 at Bud, WV she was the daughter of the late Ralph Lester and Rebecca Mitchem Lester Mrs. Sizemore was a member of the Newfound Primitive Baptist Church for over 40 years and was Assistant Sunday school clerk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Millard Frank Sizemore; a daughter, Wanda Sizemore Stafford; son-in-law, George E. Stafford, III; Daughter-In-Laws Peggy Jean Sizemore Ashley and Patricia Sizemore, brothers, Elzie, Jimmie, Jesse and Lacey Lester; sisters, Vada Wiles, Viola Dickerson, Susie Miller, Mary Lester and Letha Sizemore. Survivors include her daughters, Connie White and her husband, John; Janice Smith and her husband, Terry; Mary Morgan and her husband, James and a son, Jesse Sizemore. Brother, Luther Lester and his wife, Nancy 8 grandchildren; Sherri Bland and husband, Tommy; Carla Cook and fiancé, Reece Carter; Joni Struckman and husband, Eric; Tina Smith, Amanda Goins and husband, Donnie; James Morgan, Jr; Jason Sizemore, Jesseca Adkins and husband, Jason. 9 great-grandchildren; Thomas and Michael Bland, Hailee Belcher, Terry Dakota Simons, Gracie Goins, Terry Levi Smith, Addison and Lauryn Walker and Luke Struckman A celebration of Polly’s life will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 11, 2015 in the Calfee Funeral Service Chapel with Elder Jerry Farmer officiating Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny Family and friends to serve as pallbearers.
