Age 83, of Ross Twp., passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2011. Alfred was preceded in death by his wife Marie (Strub) Besterci, the mother of his children and his son Lawrence. He was also preceded in death by his wife Flora (Kundrat) Besterci. He is survived by his children Stephen (Monica), Bernard (Ann), Leo, Mimi (Michael) Curtis, Suzanne (the late Lawrence) Williams, Paul (Vicky) and Mark (Nancy); his grandchildren Adam, Sarah, Kelly, Laura, Caitlyn, Abbey, Shaun, Heather, Scott, Matthew and Troy; also five great- grandchildren. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1032 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp., 412-364-4444.
