Arthur "Art" Heintzinger

Arthur “Art” W. Heintzinger, 92, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023. Art was born in Mt. Troy on October 4, 1930 to Arthur J. Heintzinger and Susan (Winkler) Heintzinger. In addition to his parents, Art is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Dorothy “Dottie” Heintzinger.

Art and Dottie spent many happy years together living in Florida. While there, Art served as Secretary of the Elks Lodge in Orange Park, Florida. He was also a member of the Clay County Community Band, where he became President. He also enjoyed playing trumpet in the Recycles Band with his friends.

Art is survived by his daughters, Linda Tatu of Buffalo, NY and Arlene Miller (Skip) of Cranberry Township, PA; grandchildren, Jonathan Miller (Marisa) of Gaithersburg, MD and Steve Cobbler (Paula) of Pittsburgh, PA; great-grandsons, Arthur and Max Cobbler; brother-in-law, Ernest Scholze; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 4pm-8pm at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 10:30am at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1000 Avila Ct, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Everyone is to meet at church.
