Beth Ann Hardy

by family on Saturday, March 28th, 2026, after a period of unexpected illness.

Born February 26th, 1957, Beth was an alum of the ICM School of Business following her

graduation from Carrick High School (Class of 1975). She worked in a variety of business fields

until her retirement. Beth was an avid lover of good food and animals of all kinds—both traits

inherited from her beloved father. As a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, she

attended St. Athanasius Church in West View.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert F. Oliver, Sr. and Mercedes G. Oliver (née

Gillooly); and her sister, Mercedes L. Martino (née Oliver).

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Stephen Paul Hardy; son, Stephen Richard Hardy

(Ann Riddle); brother, Herbert F. Oliver, Jr. (Renata); sister, Amy Oliver (William Ortiz); and

brother-in-law, Bennie Martino (husband of the late Mercedes L. Martino).

Family and friends will be received at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, PA

15237, on Saturday, April 11th, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A short memorial service will

follow at 4:00 PM at the same location.

Beth will be laid to rest privately at Pine Wood Cemetery in Cranberry, PA, at a later date.
