On Sunday, January 8, 2012, Charles R. “Chuck”, Sr., of White Oak, PA., born in Tidal, PA. on June 30, 1928; Beloved husband of Theona Ploeger Boscardin; Son of the late Norma Hornberger Stanley. Father of Charles Billman, Jr., Sherry Lee Billman, Michelle McCanna & Jeffrey (Dottie) Billman. Step Father of Kathleen (Rickie W.) Worrall, Robert J. (Rose) Furlong & the late William C. Furlong. Step father-in-law of Serena Furlong. Grandfather of Jessica (Leland) Davis, Jason Billman, Nicholas (Nicole Bassler) McCanna, Christopher McCanna, Edwin & Marcus Billman. Step grandfather of Rickie J. (Stephanie) Worrall, Stacey Worrall Martin, David Furlong, Joseph (Savannah) Furlong, Elizabeth (Richard) Kuzma, Leighann Furlong & Lisa (Brian) Richardson. Great grandfather of Gavin Davis, Katelynn Davis, Sierra Sinclair & Hailey McCanna. Step great grandfather of Hayley & Lucas Worrall, Angelina Furlong, Isabelle Kuzma and Kevin & Rosalie Richardson. Brother of William (Rose) Billman. Charles retired as 1st Sergeant with over 30 years with the U. S. Marine Corps with service in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. His favorite pastime was motorcycle riding with his wife and traveling extensively on his candy apple red gold wing. Family and friends are invited to a committal service with full Military Honors on Thursday at 11am in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil, PA.
