Charlotte was, first and foremost, a faithful and loving wife, mother and aunt who always made a welcoming home for her family and friends. As a mother of two sons with lifelong disabilities, she devoted herself to their utmost development and education to include attending Point Park University with her oldest son Ted. She was a strong advocate for mainstreaming her sons into the North Allegheny School system thus paving the way for future families of children with disabilities. She regularly hosted fundraising events like backyard carnivals and volunteered for local Muscular Dystrophy telethons. She bravely sought out various treatment protocols with some of the top research specialists in the country for Muscular Dystrophy.
Charlotte and her husband Ted were faithful and active members of Ascension Lutheran Church. After the passing of their sons they devoted themselves to their extended family, church, friends and neighbors. Charlotte and Ted enjoyed traveling the country by car, van and motorcycle as well as attending to their beautiful home and most of all, celebrating the deepest love and devotion to each other. Charlotte was dearly loved, respected and admired by all who were fortunate enough to know her and will be deeply missed.
