Elizabeth J. “Betty” Zilian, of Avalon on Thursday, July 19, 2012. Married to the love of her life, the late Edward “Bud” Zilian. Loving mother of Patty (Bob) McMahon, Sandra (Dave) Graver, Jacqueline Herold and Shirley (Dave) Hilderbrand; proud grandmother of Shannon, Shelley, Michael, David E., Brian J., Lindsay, Katelynn, Brian D., David A. and Kristy; great-grandmother of 5; sister of Eleanor Clark. Betty was a vibrant woman who really enjoyed her family. She worked as the head teller for First Federal of Pittsburgh on McKnight Road, was avid golfer, played in Wednesday night card club and was a member of Club Julian.
Friends received Sunday 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave., Avalon 412-766-5600. Mass of Christian burial Monday 11am at the Church of the Assumption, Bellevue. Interment to follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park.
