I always enjoyed stopping and talking to Gene and his North Park walking buddies. Gene was a gentleman with a smile and a kind word for all.  My dogs tail would start wagging when he saw Gene coming! 
You have my deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear husband.  I am happy that our paths crossed and I got to know Gene.  May the love of friends and family help you through this difficult time. God bless.

"A merry heart doth good like a medicene, but a broke spirit dryeth the bones" pro. 17:22. Truly, Gene had a merry heart, he was pleasant to be around. He was my cousin but was closer to me than a brother. It was fun to work with him, the day went fast. What a shock to see him go, he is with the Lord and one day he and I will fellowship around the throne, praising God for his mercy and love, goodbye my best friend, until then.

Wanted to share my deepest condolences. Gene was truly a marvel of nature, a heck of a great time, and a genuinely good man. He'll be missed by all who knew him, especially those of us Cantina alums. We're so sorry for your loss and love you all.

To may cousins and Diane,  Words can't express the feelings. It's hard to understand when there is no warning. 
I really will cherish the times Scott and I got to share with Eugene.  Since Scott and I moved to Cranberry, we shared some great memories. From meeting in Arizona at Rose Marie's house to having dinner at home.  Also, watching him work installing our hardwood floor.  His talents were plentiful. Giuliani get-togethers won't be the same without his colorful full of life stories. Eugene had a knack for keeping the conversations going with all of his life experiences!  He will be missed. I will never look at a bottle of Malbec without thinking of him! We all really have to think on how short life is and never never take anything for granted.

Aloha Diane and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.  My sister Grace gave me the sad news in our phone conversation today.  Thankful that we all met last May.

Gene never ceased to amaze me with his talents and his skills.  He had a gentle, warm, personality and Don and I loved our game nights with you both.  So many fun times and great cherished moments.

Gene was the sweetest, dearest man ever.  His kindness and thoughtfulness made everyone want to be around him and with him.  I could see how happy you have been these past 17 years and that your time with Gene will stay in your heart and sould forever.

Diane, we have so many wonderful memories of fun times together with our dear brother-in-law Gene. He was a great guy who sure loved my big sis, and we are thankful that he was part of our family. A Yuengling will be enjoyed in his honor at our Friday Happy Hours!

Diane, we can't begin to tell you how very sorry we are for the loss of Gene and how much we will miss him.  All of the nights we spent together laughing and playing cards will always be remembered as our most cherished moments.  You were our best neighbors and our best friends.

Gene, you were one of the best friends anyone could ever hope for.  The thought of not spending time with you again is devastating to us.  

Rest in peace good friend.  You will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts and memories.  We love and miss you.
