Eugene "Mike" or "Chief" Milkovic

Mike was born on November 6, 1941 on E. Ohio St. in Pittsburgh to Louis Milkovic and Mary Krazan. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1963. On April 2, 1976, he married the love of his life, Twila Stanford, in Riverside, CA. During his 30 year career, he proudly served in multiple countries, including Vietnam, Germany, Guam, Turkey, with his last duty being in Grand Forks, ND. He voluntarily retired from service in June 1993 as Chief Master Sergeant. He enjoyed making stained glass lampshades, playing golf, and reading. Mike and Twila loved to travel - their first bucket list trip was to Australia and New Zealand, followed by trips to England, the Canary Islands, Spain, Italy, Mexico, the Caribbean, France, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Amsterdam, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and several other Eastern European countries.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Twila Milkovic; niece and nephews, Michael Barthold, Marlene (Don) Aubert, John Barthold, Jr., and Joseph (Melanie) Barthold; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan (Kierston) Barthold, Nicholas Warman, Laura (Shane) Herrington, Jordyn (Joe) Cunningham, Jackson Reece Cunningham, Harper Mae Cunningham, Justin Barthold, Austin Barthold, and Madison Barthold.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Barthold; and aunt, Katherine Krazan.
