Harold Bud Leininger Jr.

Age 87, formerly of Ross Twp., passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Paramount Senior Living at Cranberry, Mars, PA. He was born September 28, 1926, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Harold S. and Margaret Leininger. Beloved husband of the late Martha J. (Campbell) Leininger for 67 years; cherished father of Jeffery (Nancy), Randy (Diane), and Harold S. III (Joyce); loving grandfather of Jeffery (Chrissy), Jason (Jenna), Julie, Christie, Rob (Misty), Hope (Tim) Mister, Matthew and Kaitlyn; great-grandfather of Abigail; brother of the late Charlotte Abbott, Terrance W. Leininger and Dennis W. Leininger, Sr.; also survived by nieces and nephews. Bud was a lifetime member of Christ Lutheran Church. He was an Army veteran who served in Italy during WWII. Bud spent his entire career in the housing industry working first as an independent contractor, then as a district sales manager for Scholtz Homes and finally in the Builders division of Hamburg Brothers. He retired at age 58 to pursue a variety of personal interests and travel with Martha. The family would like to thank Marcy Marchi and the entire staff at Paramount for their excellent and compassionate care during his entire stay through his final days. Services and interment private.
