

He was born in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania to the late Harry and Clara Mae (Balkovitz) Hankle. Harry went on to live a life defined by strength, dedication and a deep love for his family.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he served his country with honor, reflecting the discipline and resilience that remained with him throughout his life. He worked as a mechanic at the Port Authority before his retirement.
He was the beloved husband of Carole Hankle, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.
He is survived by his children: Theresa (Steven) Such, Joe (Nicolyn) Hankle, Bill (Amy) Hankle, and Ruth Gonzales; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-children who will continue his legacy.
Outside of work and service, he found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He had a love for antique cars, He also found a great joy with his ham radio. He enjoyed going on cruises with this wife Carole.
Above all, family meant everything to him. His love was steady, strong and ever-present, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
A private viewing will take place at H.P Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh PA 15237. Proceeded by military service at Allegheny County Memorial Park, 1600 Duncan Ave. Allison Park, PA 15101.
