Jim Weiss, age 63 of Westview, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2017. He was the loving husband of 26 years to Linda (Winter) Weiss; devoted father of Jim Weiss of Erie, Jeffrey Weiss of Westview and Danielle Weiss of Westview; brother of Joseph of Kilbuck Township, John (Diana) of Franklin Park and the late Jay Weiss of Brighton Heights; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Avenue, Avalon, (412-766-5600), where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00am. Jim was a member of the Islam Grotto and the Blue Lodge. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.
