This Irish Blessing is what I think you would want Dad. Your wish for us all to do and remember you by:

Linda, Joe, Sean, Jeff, I am so sorry for your loss.  Before moving to Florida, I ran into Joe at Cherry Way & 4th Ave. pretty much the same day once a year and the last was at a Salvation Army serving Christmas dinner.  There great were great times on Elizabeth sittin' Aht. You are in my prayers.

Hi Joe.
It was quite by happenstance that I learned of your father's passing. I was driving through Millvale and happened to catch the name on the marker outside of the funeral home. Of course my stomach sunk - not certain as to which Joe -- either was a shock and a loss.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of your father, I remmeber the first time I met your dad, he acted as if he knew me forever. Always a kind word to say, always willing to help where help was needed, willing to get his hands dirty. Your dad will always have a place in my heart. As the days and weeks pass, know that his life has not ended, it has changed. I truely know that on that day of judgement the Lord will look upon Joe favorably and say; "Welcome to my home."  Joe, my friend, Rest in Peace.

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Joe and extend my deepest sympathy to his entire family. My fondest memory of Joe was when I was 9 years old and his family and mine were neighbors in Millvale. We played gum ball almost daily during the summer in an area directly in front of his house. I am sure the noise got to be very old to him back then as we played from morning to dark, but he never once complained. I had the misfortune on one occassion to swing late on a pitch and strike and break his window with a foul ball. I expected the worst to happen, but Mr. Gally could not have been more kind to all of us. The window got paid for and I didn't get an allowance for a long time, but I did make a good friend for life. He will be missed by his family and many friends. May the good Lord bless Joe and all of you.

BJ, you and Joe were one of the first neighbors we became friends with when we moved to Shaler over nineteen years ago. The few opportunities I had golfing with Joe were memorable.  He was witty and charming, and a very sincere person willing to help whenever possible. We felt right at home whenever in your presence. we will miss Joe and keep both of you and your family in our prayers.
