Kathryn M. Bann

After graduating from Penn State University, worked for the Superior Court of Pennsylvania until her retirement as Recorder of Judicial Decisions in 2007. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Dominic and Rose Angelini. She is survived by her husband, James, sister Rita (Ted) Byrne, beloved son, Justin and wife Susan (Taylor) and adored granddaughters, Katelyn Rose and Samantha Grace and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Kathy loved to travel, especially cruises to Italy and the Caribbean. She was a huge fan of her Penn State Nittany Lion football team, the Steelers and the Penguins. Restaurant dining for any (or no) occasion was always enthusiastically welcomed. But, more than anything, she loved and enjoyed her family. The titles of “Mom,” and “Grammy” always brought a big smile. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by H.P. Brandt Funeral Home and are limited to the immediate family. A memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 23, 2025 at St. Killian’s church at 7076 Franklin Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the St. Barnabas Charities.
