I am working with Kevin on a significant project for Walsh at Ft Mead Maryland for NSA and it has been a pleasure dealing with an honest and knowledgeable construction professional. He was a friend. Kevin and I met through a difficult business situation.  Kevin was straightforward, tough, funny, fair, a problem solver and a true leader.  Because of this, we developed a friendship.  When not talking about work, we enjoyed discussing hockey, golf and family.  My condolences to the Swain family.

Kevin was one of the funniest people that we've ever met, and we will miss him. Our condolences during this difficult time.

I had to wait a few days to get my head around this.  Kevin was a great friend and wonderful person.  Fiercely bright, crazy funny and loyal to a fault.  We were in many classes together in high school and had stayed in touch over the years.   Your family is in my prayers.  Rest in peace my friend.

I am so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing..  I have many fun and wonderful memories of Kevin, from Barnstable high.  He was a wonderful person, that always brought a smile to my face.  I had more belly laughs from him, than I can even recall.  I was lucky enough to go to Sr Prom with him, and will always remember him and his positive and fun personality. I was blessed to know Kevin. He was smart, funny, and had a smile that could light up any room. We didn't know Kevin very long, but it was apparent how kind and generous he was.  He loved to share stories and a meal.  His skills on the grill were excellent. His laugh came easily and he knew how to enjoy life.   He was competitive and yet a true gentlemen on the golf course.  His love for Rosie was true and evident.  Rosie our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.  Kevin may be gone, but take comfort that he will always remain in your mind and heart whenever you need him. So sorry to hear of this unexpected loss. My heartfelt sympathies to his children. Losing your Dad is one of the hardest things, you'll ever deal with in life. Kevin was the most vibrant, charismatic person I've ever met. He will leave an unfillable void at Walsh and in the hearts of many.

During that time he introduced me to BOSTON (the band) and the joys of living with a boa constrictor (YIKES). I introduced him to Dueling Banjos and adventures of a midwestern east coast boy (HEHEHE). We had so much fun (things I can't  type here) needless to say we laughed ALOT!!! 

I had an even greater pleasure of reconnecting with him several years back. The way he talked about his family was inspiring and showed the love he had for all of you. Rosie, please know you have our deepest sympathy. We were so shocked to hear of Kevin's abrupt passing. We just met him for the first time last fall at our family reunion. We could see why everyone loved him. I am so very sorry Rosie. You are all suffering a tremendous loss in a wonderful husband and father. My prayers and love for you and all the children.

It is hard to find the words to describe the emptiness my family and I feel with this devastating loss. Kevin was everyone's "favorite uncle" and best friend. He was always there when you needed him. He had a generous spirit that gave and gave but required no repayment. He would do anything for his friends. For us, he went as far as becoming an ordained minister so he could preside over our daughter's wedding. Simply unbelievable and, he said, perfectly legal. That was Kevin. So to our dear friend, until we meet again in heaven, we miss you dearly "Father" Kevin.

Kevin was always a gentleman and Scholar, he had a big heart always giving and wanted to give even more, he taught me a lot, but the one advice i will always remember "be humble and give in anyway you can".  He will be missed, but I'm very sure he will be watching over is family.

King Cool was the kindest, funniest and most sincere uncle and my boys will never forget how much he made them laugh, made them feel special, and lit up a room like no one else. Hes the reason Eric is a Steelers fan and forever more we will root for the Steelers to win a Super Bowl for Uncle Kevin. Our hearts are with all of you. He was loved more than he knew. 

To Rosie and all the family , my deepest sympathy. No words can describe my grief at this time and I cant even begin to imagine yours. Kevin was an awesome, kind, fun loving man and he loved all of you beyond measure. He was so good. He would help anyone. I will miss him very much. May god bless all of you.

My heart has been so empty since hearing of the loss of my cousin Kevin. Although we grew up four states apart, we managed to spend at least a week together every summer.  In recent years, we'd only seen each other at funerals.  We often texted back and forth "we need to get together" and it just never happened.  If I can ask one favor of everyone who reads this, please, in Kevin's memory, reach out to a relative you haven't seen in awhile and keep that promise to "get together".  R.I.P Kevin....I love you!

I am so sorry for your lost and how sudden all this happened. I am praying for peace beyond comprehension through this time. Over the last few years as I've gotten to know Kevin as a subcontractor to Walsh and I treasured his referring to me and our company as a friend. Business is all about people and Kevin made doing business a pleasure. I will also treasure our talks about his family and especially his daughters. May God ease your pain by knowing what an amazing impact he left on everyone he encountered. 

Kevin was such a friendly person and always uplifting.  He was always so busy but a pleasure to talk to when he had the time; and he would give you his time!  There is nothing you can say to alleviate the main for so many. 

Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.

I worked for Kevin as a subcontractor and enjoyed our relationship. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to Rosie and their children.
