Marcel Joseph Amrhein Jr, 79 of Economy Boro passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025. He was the son of the late Marcel Joseph Sr. and Allie Mae (Key) Amrhein, beloved husband to Kay and loving father of three sons, Larry (Sue), Jeff (Kris), and Kevin (Georgann). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as two brothers Robert (the late Janet) and Elwin (Annette). His profession was a mechanic and he was a master of all trades. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoyed Forest and Elk Counties.
Visitation for Marcel will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 at H.P Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday January 6, 2026 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Allegheny County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Marcel's name to the Parkinson's Foundation, the Diabetes Association or the Traumatic Brain Injury Association.
