Marjory Ann Watkins

Age 87, of Emsworth, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015. She is survived by her three children, David Alan Watkins, Dianne Friedman (Nick Matko), Linda Ward (Joseph); two grandchildren, Leonard Friedman and Daniel Friedman; a sister, Janet Swanson from Santa Barbara, CA. Marjory was a wonderful mother and active volunteer her whole life. She spent tireless hours volunteering for Meals on Wheels and also later in life teaching other seniors about computers. She loved music and the Pittsburgh Symphony. She was a leader at St. James Lutheran Church and was a founding member of the Emsworth Community Club. She loved spending time on her back porch or swimming in the pool. Marjory was a lifelong resident of Emsworth, PA. She loved traveling to the beach for vacations, but her main focus in life was helping others. She was always there for her family and gifted everyone she knew with her persona. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1032 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp., 412-364-4444. A funeral service will be held in St. James Lutheran Church, 28 Pittsburgh St., Emsworth, PA 15202 on Friday at 10 a.m. Everyone please meet at church.
