Mary Lou Little, of McCandless Twp., passed away peacefully surrounded by family in her home on Saturday, May 22, 2021. She was born on January 5, 1946 and was the daughter of the late John “Bud” and Ann Baran.
She graduated from California University with a teaching degree. Shortly after graduating, she met her husband, Barry Little, on a blind date. After a whirlwind romance, they eloped, and were married for over 52 years. They had two children, Cheryl Sarapa and Sean Little whom she is survived by. She was also blessed with two grandchildren, William and Ryan Sarapa, and was a “mom” to many kitties over the years.
She enjoyed her time volunteering at UPMC Passavant hospital, and playing in the volunteer’s bowling league. On a sunny day, you could often find her enjoying a walk at North Park.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. A private funeral attended by family will follow.
