Patricia R. (Niehaus) Peters, 85, of Bellevue, on Sunday, September 16, 2012. Beloved wife of 63 years to John W. Peters. Loving mother of Susan (David) Kremmel and John T. (Joann) Peters; proud grandmother of Laura, Gregory and Emily Kremmel and Elizabeth and Catherine Peters; sister of Lee Niehaus, Eleanor (Henry) Craig and Joy (Dick) Keib; and sister-in-law Eleanor Niehaus. She is preceded in death by her brother Bud Niehaus.
Patricia was a CCD teacher at Assumption school for 30 years, a pre-school teacher’s aide at Y-Tots for 10years and longtime member of the Suburban General Ladies Auxiliary.
Friends received Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Inc., 1014 California Ave., Avalon, (412)-766-5600. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday 10am at the Church of the Assumption, Bellevue. Interment to follow at St Augustine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations suggested to Church of the Assumption, Animal Friends or the Animal Rescue League.
