

On Friday, January 20, 2023, Patricia Rita Scheuring of Reserve Township, peacefully passed away at Magnolia Place of Saxonburg after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was the daughter to the late Wesley and Rita (Snow) Newman and the loving wife of the late Wayne Scheuring.
Patricia was an example of grace, kindness and simplicity who always put her family first. She gave a lot of her time to volunteering with Mt. Troy Volunteer Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary and at St. Anthony Chapel on Troy Hill. She was a talented seamstress, sang in her church choir and supported many charities that were near and dear to her heart. Throughout her life she was known to have a green thumb, her beautiful rose bushes were admired by her neighbors and anyone who walked passed her home. Patricia has forever changed those close to her by teaching the true meaning of unconditional love.
She is survived by her loving sisters Marcy Newman and Gail (Michael) Berryman; sister-in-law Cindy (late Michael) Newman; The adoring Aunt to; Karen (Rick) Sestric, Kim (John) McCann, Edward Hunter, David (Mamie) Hunter, Joseph Rodgers, Thomas Rodgers, James Rodgers, Deborah (Jeffrey) Myers (Newman), Peggy Newman, Douglas (Sandy) Newman, John Newman, Theresa (Angel) Rodriguez, Heather (Ron) Mackie, Candace Robertson, Joseph Berryman, Crystal Pavlik; and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Charles Newman and Michael (Cindy) Newman, sisters Elizabeth Newman, Nancy (Terrance) Rodgers and Michele (Edward) Hunter, and niece Patricia Rodgers.
Friends and family will be received at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home 1032 Perry Hwy Pittsburgh PA 15237 on Wednesday January 25, 2023 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Most Holy Name of Jesus 1700 Harpster Street Pittsburgh, PA 15212 on Thursday at 10AM.
