

Age 68, of Conroe, TX, passed away on July 1, 2015. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 20, 1947. Survived by his wife of 25 years, LuAnn (Derence) Kremer; and daughter, Angie Marshall; granddaughter, Ashlee; son, Richard, Jr. and wife, Susan; and granddaughters, Summer and Maya. Preceded in death by father, Joseph; mother, Lillian; and brother, Donald. Survived by brother, Joseph Kremer; and sisters, Linda Bambraugh and Rose Newman. Richard graduated from Hampton High School in 1965. He then served in Vietnam in 1967 and 1968 and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal and the Air Medal for meritorious achievement while participating in sustained aerial flight. He also graduated The U.S. Army Transportation School in Helicopter Maintenance and he was an honor student while attending the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics and received an Associate of Science degree. He had a lifetime career with Zimmermann & Jansen, Inc. that started with sweeping the floor and ended with the position of Manufacturing /Engineering Manager. He had a passion for cars of all kinds and was an aspiring drummer and guitarist. He loved music, especially The King of Rock 'n Roll, Elvis, with The Beatles coming in at a very close second. Friends received on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1032 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp., 412-363-4444, where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
