Lord, Richard E. “Dick”, Sr., of South Park, on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013. Beloved husband of 44 years to Roseann (Judge) Lord and father of Richard Jr., Robert and Brandon, grandfather of Zachary, Sean and Roland and son of the late William Lord and Jane Whitehead Lord, he died unexpectedly, but peacefully, with his family around him. Born in Brooklyn, he brought his family to Pittsburgh and worked as an engineer for 25 years with R. T. Patterson Co., Downtown. Friends will say goodbye to this provider, builder, worker, leader and friend on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Griffith Mortuary, Inc. 5636 Brownsville Road, Broughton-Curry-South Park Twp. where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. followed by burial at Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions to Special Olympics of Allegheny County welcomed.
