Ruth A. Jardine

Age 94, of Wexford, passed peacefully from this life into eternal life in the arm's of Jesus, surrounded by her loving family, on May 25, 2011. She was born in Pittsburgh, September 21, 1916, a daughter of the late Frederick and Theresa (Schmidt) Margus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James V. Jardine in 1993, and a daughter, Joy Jardine Sprague in 2001. She will be sadly missed by her surviving children, James V. (Patti) Jardine, Jr. of New Mexico, Patricia (Ralph) Seely of Tionesta, PA, Roberta (Patrick) Lynch of Franklin Park, PA, Richard Jardine of Wexford, PA, Rochelle B. (Timothy) Morrison of Conway, PA; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren, and sister, Dorothy Neiley and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1032 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp., 412-364-4444, where services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Schumaker of St. Matthew Lutheran Church officiating.
