Sean Michael Carney, 28 of Avalon, passed away suddenly at home on December 29, 2016. He leaves behind a son, Sean Michael Carney, his partner Vanessa Lamb; his parents, Sue and Edward Carney; a brother, Brian Carney; a sister, Joy Carney; a grandmother, Mary Forward; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. Sean was a graduate of Northgate High School and Bidwell Culinary Arts program. He worked at the Gateway Clipper, PNC Park and the Rivers Club. He loved his family and friends with all of his heart. His goal in life was to make everyone around him happy and he achieved that goal every day of his life. Our world has lost this shining light. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am in the Church of the Assumption, Bellevue.
