Loving husband of 69 years to Mathilda (Herbert) Zinno; devoted father of Silverio (wife Gail), William (wife Rita) and Joseph Zinno (wife Laureen); proud grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of eight. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the HEARD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4047 Perrysville Avenue, Observatory Hill. Mass of Christian Burial Incarnation of the Lord Parish, Saturday 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Ross Twp. Sam served honorably in the Army during WWII, thus leading him to his membership at the West View VFW Post #2754, where he served as Chaplain for many years. He was also a member of the Corinthian Lodge 573, Islam Gratto, and the Syria Shrine.
