Theodore "Ted" D. Johnson, age 90, of Observatory Hill, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 29, 2016. Husband of the late Louise Johnson; loving father of Sandra (Michael) Schonbak, Linda (Kevin) Riley, Patti (Richard) Macy and David (Jan) Johnson; also surviving are nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township (412-364-4444) where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery, Ross Township. Family suggests memorial donations to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
