Virginia was born July 11, 1926 in Avalon to Ida Rebecca and Walter Stewart Beetem. She met her husband Harry Frank Seitz at West View Park and after a Racing Whippet ride, the courtship began. She lived in Bellevue 66 years until 2019.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Harry and her Grandsons, Aaron and Danny.
Virginia is survived by her 7 children: Harry (Diane), Bobby (Daryl), Jimmy (Donna), Danny (Gretchen), Suzanne, Donna Lee and Barb (Bob) Averell; 15 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Virginia often would declare “You are only as old as you feel” and always lived her life as a vibrant active woman. She walked everywhere she could and encouraged everyone to get up and move as it keeps you young.
Virginia loved family picnics and could always be found either playing volleyball or playing chase with the grandkids, yes even well into her 90’s. She cherished her family and loved spending time with them. Virginia would always be ready to help anyone in need and could be ready in 5 minutes and eager to go anywhere at any time of day, ready to laugh and have a good time. Virginia loved family dinners (as long as she didn’t have to cook it), grandkid visits, picnics, walks, shopping and 500 rummy (where she was always the Ace hoarder).
