Winifred P. Stefko

Winifred P. Stefko, 84 of Glenshaw, passed away surrounded by her family on February 22, 2026. She was born on September 10, 1941 to the late John and Mary (Barto) Harbison. She was married to the late Robert Stefko who preceded her in death in 1989.

Winifred retired after 48 years as a nurse at the St. Francis Hospital and Passavant Hospital. She loved gardening and crocheting, and will be missed by her knitting group in Ross Twp. Above all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a strong and determined woman who was "the best mom ever" and will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her children, John Stefko, Robert (Shelly) Stefko, and Mary (Ralph) Waibel; grandchildren Winter, Athena, Jake, Luke, Shane, Frankie, Samantha, Justin, and Stevie "Nugget"; 7 great grandchildren; siblings Robert Harbison and Peggy (Mike) Steele, and numerous cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her brother David Harbison and grandson Jeremy Patterson.

Visitation for Winifred will be held on Friday February 27, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at H.P Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh PA 15237. A Funeral Ceremony will take place on Saturday at 1 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, Mars PA. Pastor Katie McNeal will officiate. Everyone please meet at church. Interment will take place at the Mars Cemetery.
