Antonio Martinez Ramirez

A lover of his work in the logging industry, Antonio continued throughout his illness hoping he would return to the great outdoors and the trade he loved. He was a man who took pride in raising “all” of his children and could never say no to those who needed help.

Antonio is survived by his children: Tony, Rudy, Joe, Ernesto, David, Teresa, Rose, Carolyn and Letty, 21 amazing grandchildren, and the Martinez siblings: Roman, Cristobol, Fernando, Elias, Cipriano, Ana stacia, Benjamin and Narciso. Antonio was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Rafaela Pena.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 3/08/2014, at 11:00 a.m. with a Vigil at 10:30 a.m., at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 3109 Sacramento St., Placerville, CA. Interment will follow at Westwood Hills Memorial Park, 2720 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville. A public visitation will take place Friday, 3/7/2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville.
