Bob Allen Nation passed away at Mather Veteran’s Hospital. He was born in Oklahoma and lived in El Dorado County the majority of his life. Bob was a timber faller and enjoyed archery, auto racing, the outdoors and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. Bop is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Lucinda E. Nation, sons Brent A., Brett E. and Joshua A. (Bethany) Nation; grandchildren Jessica Pantel, Kourtney, Nicholas, April and Brian Nation, and two great grandchildren, Logan and Audrey Nation; and his brothers Marvin and Jim Nation. He was preceded in death by his parents Hack and Gladys Nation and daughter Mary L. Nation. A funeral service will be held at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home in Placerville, CA on Friday, November 6, 2015, at 1:00pm.
