After his service in the South Pacific, he returned to Santa Rosa and in Jan. 1946 he married Laura Mae Potts. They had three children, Margaret, Evelyn and son Warren.
Dan worked in construction, he loved operating heavy equipment. In 1971 he worked for the CA State Dept. of Transportation.
He loved El Dorado County and in 1984 upon retirement, he and his wife Laura moved to Camino, CA. After his wife’s death in the year 2003 he moved to El Dorado, CA where he spent his remaining years enjoying this wonderful country.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Chapel of the Pines Mortuary, Thursday 1/05/2012, 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Per Dan’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
