Dennis was born on April 23, 1946 in Sacramento, California. He graduated from Bella Vista High School in Fair Oaks, California and received an associate degree from American River College. He served our country in the U. S. Army and worked for the State of California many years, retiring in 2009.
He is predeceased by his father Arthur Reuben Mills. He is survived by his wife Barbara Mills, his daughter Nicole Kennedy and husband Marty, his special niece who is a second daughter to him Christina Williams, his mother Valera Pepper, his brother Roger Mills and wife Trudy, seven other nieces and seven nephews and their families, special friend Eliot Dodds-Scott, and his wonderful church family.
Dennis’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11 am at Pleasant Oak Baptist Church, 1731 Pleasant Valley Road, Placerville, California.
