Daddy on aug 8 2024 mommy went to be with you but you already know that because I'm sure you came and got her she had such a rough time after you left her we tried to make her live but she just couldn't live without you she didn't know how I hope she is at peace now and all those fears that she had are gone I love you both until we see each other again I hope you guys are Dancing in the Sky up there

Don was my sector sergeant in the south area in the 1980 s.  He was easy-going and always fun to be around,  we always made work fun, and laughed. He always treated me good. I will never forget him. He’s part of my life and I will miss him always until we meet again Steven Stafford, SPD.  

I grew up with the Swars. I always thought they were very‘Hollywood’.  Their family was so beautiful and just amazing. He was a cop, which I have always admired throughout my life. I even worked with the Sac PD as a dispatcher before deciding to go into nursing. I have admiration for cops/PD/ALL enforcement since. LOVE ❤️. And hugs to all of you. My condolences again. ❤️‍🩹

Don was always a class Act.  May he Rest in Peace.

Don was a great guy with whom I enjoyed work at Sac PD.  His family and ours enjoyed many days of camping and waer skiing on the rover and at Bullards Bar. We will miss him.

I miss you already Daddy I'm sitting here in the chair that you always sat in thinking of all the great memories you gave us I hope your journey was easy when you left us I want to thank you for allowing me to take that Journey with you I really believe that you allowed me to wake up in that moment of you taking your last breath here and seeing the light of energy leave your body as I really believe I did I'll never forget . I really hope that Uncle Dick, Grandma and Grandpa were there to meet you as I was telling you I would walk with you until you saw them rest in peace daddy until we meet again
