

He will always be remembered as a kind generous man, always with a smile or a hug to share.
Frank was born and raised on a farm in Tabor, SD. He received his BS in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines in Rapid City, SD and worked summers at Mount Rushmore. After graduation, he accepted a job working for the Department of the Navy at the naval base at Pt. Mugu, CA.
Frank met Annarose Baghdoian at a young adults group at the First Presbyterian Church in Oxnard. CA and they were wed there in 1955. He remained an active member of the church until they moved to Placerville, CA in 2005.
While working at Pt Mugu and later Port Hueneme Naval Base, Frank worked on quite a few
high level engineering jobs including several high profile radar systems, one of which was the Apollo moon shots. During this time. he also received his MBA from California Lutheran University.
Frank was always interested in American military history and he researched and published a
paper on the Battle of the Little Bighorn. He was very active in the Ojai Valley Gun Club and served as treasurer for many years. He belonged to the Ventura County Muzzlestuffers, a group dedicated to black powder firearms, who also would do Revolutionary War re-enactments.
Family vacations often included travels to many National Parks and battlefields.
He is survived by his wife Annarose (Ann) Dvoracek, daughter Ellen Coleman (Dana), son Richard Dvoracek (Cindy), daughter Carol Lockwood (Stewart) as well as a large extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to have a tree planted in memory in a Califomia National
