Gerald Jackson

June 11, 1937 - March 3, 2017

Jerry Jackson was born June 11, 1937 in Whitewater Missouri to Carl Jackson (Irene-Step mother) and Mildred White (Olin-Step Father) and inlaws Arthur and Victoria Silva (all deceased). Jerry leaves behind his wife of 58 years Inez Jackson of Garden Valley California. Brother Donald Jackson (Monie) of Moro Illinois and sister Beverly Cook (Ray) of O'Falling Missouri. Sister in law Elsie DeMattos of Pauillo Hawaii and Brother in law Earl Silva (Lydia) of Kalopa Hawaii. Daughter Pam Craig (Ron), Vicki Little and Laurie Putnam (Chris). Grandsons Joe Haskill, Evan Little. Step Grandchildren, Josh Putnam, Warren Little and Leanne Van Lone. Nine great step grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.

Jerry was a retired contractor. He owned and operated Jackson's Paving and Grading in Garden Valley and Custom Electric in San Jose California in the 1970's. Jerry was past Post Comander of VFW Post 9241 in Georgetown and past President of Georgetown Rotary.

A Celebration of his life will be held at the VFW Hall in Georgetown immediately following services at the Chapel of the Pines, 2855 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville on March 11, 2017 at 11:00am. Private inurnment will be held at Westwood Hills Memorial Park in Placerville.
