Nancy Lenore Taylor

Nancy Lenore Taylor passed away in Placerville on September 29, 2015, surrounded by her family. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Byron. Beloved mother of Kelly (Don) Crisp, Byron J. (Cindy) Taylor and Casey (Eric) Lorenz. Sister of Kathleen Topp, Bridgett (Mike) Green and Erin Kilbane. Devoted grandmother of Ashlene, Ian, Meghan, Griffin and Joshua and ‘coming soon” her great granddaughter, Ava.

Nancy was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 1, 1943. Byron and Nancy lived together in Thousand Oaks since 1964 and moved to El Dorado County in 1999, living in Pollock Pines, El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park and for the last 5 years, Diamond Springs. Nancy loved ceramics, painting and sewing but most of all, spending time with Byron and her children and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home, 2855 Cold Springs Rd., Placerville. Private inurnment will be held. In lieu of flowers contributions in Nancy’s name may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001, alz.org/donate.
